Go Motorboard 2000XR NEW!!!

The NEW 2000XR transporter (previously named the 2000X) Is the lightest electric scooter in the world!!
Weighs only 19 lbs. 13oz.

The new model is identical to the previous model 2000X and 1500X shown below and also has an improved printed circuit board plus front suspension which dramatically improves the ride. The 2000XR also uses Lithium batteries which last longer than the sealed lead acid that were previously used in the 1500X. They are also lighter. With these new batteries the 2000XR has increased performance with better range and climbing ability. The scooter motors turn on after you give the 2000XR one kick to get it going.
The new 2000XR regenerates power back into the batteries when coasting and does not have regenerating braking as the 1500X did. The greatly improves the range and ease of use.
"I personally have been using a 1500X that is now 4 years old. This was the first model go motorboard and it is still running as strong as the day it was new!! The new 2000XR has many improvements over the original 1500X".

Go Motorboard 2000X and 1500X reviews by Danny Doris

We received the 2000X today 12/16/05.
The fit and finish is high quality just like the 1500X was. The ride is greatly improved with the new front suspension and much smoother on the bumps. The 2000X also coasts better since there is no regenerative braking on this new model. Actual weight on a postal scale was 19lbs. 13oz.
I really like the 1500X and I like the 2000X even more. It's the smallest and lightest pro scooter on the market and a lot of fun to ride. Danny Doris

We received our demo 1500X yesterday 9/29/03. It was raining so I had to wait till today to ride it. It came in a double box. The inside box contained the company box with a plastic handle. This box is great for storing and transporting the scooter. Even the box is well made!!
Inside the box the scooter was packed with top and bottom formed cardboard. Really packed well. The scooter is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is some of the best if not the best I have seen. The scooter is made in China so it shows that Chinese factories can put out quality products. Folding and un-folding the scooter could not be easier. You push a lever down and the column releases. Move it forward and it clicks into place. To raise the steering it uses a microphone stand type twist lock. Pull the steering up, a little spring button clicks into place and tighten the twist collar. There is no kick stand. Instead you push the latch and let the front wheel fold till the scooter rests on the front of the battery pan. To take it off it's "kickstand" you simply push the top of the steering column forward and it clicks into place.
The ride of the 1500 would be comparable to a motorized skateboard. It takes a little getting use to the smaller wheels since the stability isn't as good as larger wheeled scooters. Once you get use to riding the 1500X it's second nature. With my weight of 180 lbs. I would say the speed was close to 14-15mph. There is a slight grade here and the 1500 pulled right up with no change in speed or sound. The motor is quiet with a slight whine to it. With the solid wheels this scooter must be ridden on smooth surfaces. It's a fun ride and once you get use to it, it's very controllable. The regen braking works excellent. Ease off the throttle and it kicks in. With the regen braking used properly you won't be needing the rear brake lever. The more you release the throttle the more braking is delivered. If you release the throttle quickly then the scooter freewheels very good. For it's size and weight the 1500X is an amazing little scooter. The ride can't compete with the smoother ride of larger scooters with pneumatic tires but the board is a lot more portable. Real portable!!
Not only is this board great for transportation it is also so much FUN to ride!! Take it up and down your block or driveway just "carving" turns. You will feel like you are surfing or skiing on pavement!!
The 1500X has a fun factor of 10+

If you are looking for the ultimate compact escooter, at 22 lbs., excellent workmanship, performance and price IMO there is nothing else out there that can compete. This is the most amazing little escooter I have ever ridden!! Danny Doris
